As of Saturday, May 22, 2021, Cardinal Daniel DiNardo has adjusted the Covid-19-related modifications to the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy in the Archdiocese. In that light, please note the following important information:
- The Church can have 100% capacity.
- Those who are not fully vaccinated should wear a mask “out of charity for others,” but masks are not required to attend the liturgy.
- The Cry Room is available.
- Holy Communion can be received on the tongue.
- The temporary suspension of receiving Holy Communion under the appearance of wine from a common chalice remains in effect until further notice.
- For the time being, the general dispensation from the Sunday obligation remains in effect for all Catholics within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

Senior Renewal Program: St. Joseph Hospital Navasota, Texas
As you reach your senior years, you’ll face many of life’s challenges that come with age, such as losing a spouse, family member, or friends or experience a decrease in your quality of health or mobility. These experiences can feel overwhelming and hurt your health, both emotionally and physically.
The Senior Renewal program at St. Joseph Health offers help in decreasing or resolving these issues and also improving your emotional health. We strive to help strengthen your emotional and physical well-being.

The mission of the program is to Helping Seniors Navigate The Next Steps in Life.
The goals of the program are:
- To improve daily living skills
- To help alleviate symptoms that may interfere with the individual's ability to function.
- To support the integrity of the family
- To maximize independence
The outpatient program assists seniors struggling with
- Grief and loss
- Changes/loss of health
- Social isolation
- Anxiety/nervousness, worry
- Relationships
- Depression
- Aging/failing memory
- Anger management
- Suicidal thoughts
- Change in eating/sleeping patterns
